Privacy is one of the primary concern these days.

Especially in the era of smartphones where everyone is having a lot of personal information stored on their phone, it could get challenging to protect.
Some people may have important details like bank account numbers or passwords or even private messages stored on their phone, and it is highly important for them to protect these.
There may be situations where you need to use your phone to access such kind of information in a public place or even around a group of people which you know but not well enough to trust them.
Even in daily scenarios where you are traveling somewhere in public transport or waiting in a queue and using your phone to text someone or pay your bills online, you can not always be sure that your privacy is protected.
I mean, some person could be standing behind you and could be peeking your phone waiting for you to enter some useful information, or it could just be a stalker reading your messages or watching your photos and making you feel uncomfortable.
What would you do in such situations?
If your answer is, “I would just keep my phone in my pocket and wait till the person leaves”, then my question to you is, “Why do you even have an Android phone bro?”
If you are using an Android phone and have experienced a similar kind of situation many times in the past and had the same response I mentioned earlier, then this trick is for you.
With this app, you can now use your phone in public places and do all kinds of personal activities and still avoid worrying about your privacy.
Because this app hides a part of your screen you want while keeping only a portion of your display visible.
You could either black out the remaining portion of your screen or just dim the brightness so that it is only visible to you.
This way, you can both use your phone without worrying in public and also could troll those stalkers who are sneaking your phone from behind.
Here’s how.

Step 1:

Install the app from the Google Play Store

Step 2:

This app does not act as a standalone app. So, once you install the app and open it from your app drawer, it will directly start working.

Step 3:

You can now see the bar appearing on your phone screen with resize buttons or the right and reposition buttons on the left.

Step 4:

The buttons on the right could be used if you want to enlarge the viewing area.
Just long press the button and then drag it to your required size.
You can also reposition the bar by dragging it using the buttons on the left and then placing it anywhere on your screen.

Step 5:

The settings of the app could be accessed either by opening the app from your launcher or by just clicking on the hamburger menu at the top right corner.
You can choose to enable or disable the notification on your status bar to quickly turn on and off the privacy screen.
You can also modify certain aspects of the app from the settings like changing the level of brightness or the shape of the bar to replace the rectangle with a circle.
So that you can set the appropriate amount of brightness based on the location you are.
For example, if you are in a room with some people you can completely reduce the brightness or if adjust it to be visible only to you when you are outdoors.

From now on, you can browse through your favorite website and do all kinds of activities using your phone without having to worry about strangers peeking over your phone.
Share this with your friends so that they could also be safe. Just make sure that they own an Android smartphone.
