Whatsapp for Android added a new feature which allowed the users to delete messages in their conversations within a few minutes of sending them. This allowed the users to revoke or delete messages that they might have sent by mistake.
However, not everyone was a fan of this feature, especially since Whatsapp also shows everyone in the conversation, be it a private or a group one, that a particular message was deleted by the user.

There are two options given to the user when trying to delete a message in Whatsapp conversation. The user can either delete the message only on their phone or delete it for everyone thus removing the message from the conversation history of everyone involved.
The delete for everyone option shows everyone involved in the conversation that the message has been deleted and it can only be used within a few minutes of sending the message, after which the option would be unavailable.
So, if you are not a fan of this message deleting feature in Whatsapp, here is a simple trick using which you can not only read any deleted messages in Whatsapp but also prevent them from getting deleted in the first place.

Once you have uninstalled the official version of Whatsapp app from your Android phone, install the GBWhatsapp app on your device by opening the APK file you just downloaded.

Now select the Enable Anti-Revoke option from the privacy settings menu and the option to revoke deleted messages will now be enabled in the GBWhatsapp app.
