Step 1:

Most people don’t use this and some of them don’t even know it exists. I am talking about the Google Allo Messenger which was launched last year by Google to Android and iOS smartphones.

But, for this trick to work, it is essential that you download and install the Google Allo Messenger right now on your Android or iOS device. You can download it from the links below.

Step 2:

Once you have installed the Google Allo messenger on your device, just open the app and then sign up using your mobile number to proceed.

Once you have completed the initial setup process, just head over to the left hamburger menu and then select the ‘Allo for Web’ option.

Click on the scan QR code to open the QR code scanner from within the app.

Step 5:

Now open one of the following browsers on your PC/Laptop : Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Opera. As of now the Google Allo web version is only supported in these browsers.

Step 6:

Click on the link here and you will be taken to the Google Allo web and you will be displayed a QR code.

Step 7:

Now use your Android or iOS smartphone to scan the QR code on your computer.

Once the scan is successfully completed, you will be automatically redirected to the Google Allo Messenger on the browser on your computer.

Step 9:

From here, you can open the Google Assistant from the Chat list and can start interacting with it just like you do on your smartphone.

Remember, you have to connected to the internet on both your phone and your computer for this to work and as soon you log out or turn the WiFi on your phone off, the Allo web will stop working. Until then, all the messages you send and receive will be automatically synchronized on both of these devices.
