Samsung Galaxy A5 2017, launched earlier this year with Android Marshmallow 6.0, is now finally getting the official software update to Android Nougat 7.0 as promised. Even though the device joins the party late, it is still excited to know that it got the update.
Following the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, the Android Nougat 7.0 update is now rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 devices in India.
The firmware version of the update is A520FXXUBQI5 and it is approximately 1385MB in size.
If you are in the region and has not yet received the OTA notification, you can check for the update by going to Settings->About Phone->Software Update.
